Submissions are free, but we graciously accept donations to help keep the Bunsen burners lit.

Submission windows will be open twice a year for roughly two months or until we hit our caps for genres.

Submissions are limited to 7,000 words, three poems, or five art pieces per submission. Art submissions should include art credits for each individual piece; all images should be 300 dpi or greater. All contributors should provide a brief 50-word bio with social media handles, if available. Only previously unpublished work will be accepted, and Midnight Chem will ask for first North American publishing rights.

Simultaneous submissions accepted, but contributors must notify us if their works are accepted elsewhere.
